Personal Statement

I've been active in athletics since I was 5 years old starting with Tee Ball.  My desire to compete isn't just limited to the softball field.  I enjoy excelling at other sports as well such as basketball, cross country, volleyball, and track , but my true love is softball.  Along with the competition, I have always loved softball because of the close bonds I develop with my teammates and the time I get to spend with my family.  My parents and younger brother are all very supportive of my softball obsession.

My academic goals are to go to a college where I can pursue a degree that will eventually lead me to a great career.  I have not decided on a career path yet, but at this time, I am leaning toward engineering or business.  I work very hard in my classes and have developed good study habits while still finding time to compete at a high level in the sports that I have chosen to do.   My ultimate goal is to continue my softball career past high school and represent the college I choose to the best of my abilities.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
