I have been playing softball since I was eight years old. Realizing my athletic potential, my parents began to take me to professional pitching lessons at ten years old. Since then I have learned to play every position except catcher. I love to be on the mound, but my coaches often need me to play third base. I typically bat third or fourth in the line-up. This off season, I am concentrating on weight lifting and endurance. I am running cross country and I will be on the swim team this winter. I have also played both high school volleyball and basketball.
`I want to go to college to become a wildlife biologist or even be in sports medicine. I have no fears of leaving my home state of Michigan and would love to go out west or south.
I have a desire to learn and have been told that I am very coach-able. I do not like drama and I strive to be a good example for my team mates. My team is my family.
