Marcella Nurenberg '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Marcella Nurenberg and I am currently a softmore at Lakewood High School. I've been playing softball ever since I was 5 and it has become one of my favorite sports and my greatest passion. I've played on a travel ball team and I continually play on my school's summer softball team. My main position is out-Feilding but I'm a strong infielder, I've also pitched for a little over 3 years but recently stopped pitching. Im a primarily right-side hitter but I am working with my coaches to become a better switch hitter and bunter.  During the off-season, I run cross country and I participate in my high school's concert band and marching band. I've made and obtained honor roll since 5th grade and continue to maintain a 3.8 GPA. My plan is to get my degree in education and minor in history so I can become a social studies teacher.
