Meghan Winston-#1...Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Meghan Winston and I am a sophomore at Marysville High School. I have played volleyball, basketball, and softball since I was 8. I love all the sports I play, especially softball, which is my genuine passion. I believe sports are very important because they teach you more about yourself and teach you life lessons that help in the real world. For college, I have a goal of playing softball at the college level and I am interested in law and political science.
What sets me apart from others is the combination of my passion for softball as well as the pride I take in my hard work and dedication not only to my athletics, but my education. Going to the right school with the best education is most important to me. I have been able to balance three varsity sports since my freshman year, and have maintained over a 4.1 GPA as well.
I am excited for the opportunities in my future. I believe college softball is a goal I can achieve as I am a team leader, great teammate, and always striving to better myself and my team.

- This season team won Wolverine-Buckeye Tournament and competed at the North American World Series Showdown in Columbus, OH. Meghan was selected as game MVP in 2 games by the opposing team.
