Dear Prospective Coach,
Thanks for looking at my profile. Check out more videos at: https://sportsrecruits.com/allison_vogt
I began playing competitive softball when I was 10, and I can't imagine ever walking away from the sport. Through the years I have only gotten better at whatever position my coaches have put me in. When I first got into competitive softball I didn't know what to expect. What I found was a group of girls that had the same passion for athletics as I had. This passion drove me to want to pitch and I began to take lessons near the end of my 10U season. The next few years I kept getting better and better. There was rarely a day going by that I wasn't doing some sort of softball activity whether practice, games, or going to a field with my dad. I have been a starting pitcher ever since my 12U season for my travel team and now am a Pitcher for my High School Varsity team. I have a total of 7 different pitches and will be working on my Rise Ball. I may be Right Handed but I have been working for the past 3-4 years on my slap hitting skills. Although pitching is my primary position, I am a utility player playing all positions except catcher and 1B. If I am not pitching I love to play 3B and LF, but recently have been playing 2B. When playing 3B and OF you get to throw the ball as hard as you can and it's more fun when you don't let up.
I truly believe that if I am having a bad day, softball can cure anything.
