Hello, my name is Shaelyn Lampinen, I am 18 years old. I attend high school at Mid Peninsula School in Rock, Mi but my high school team is played for Superior Central Eben, Mi. I play for them because at my high school I am the only softball player so we have to co-op with Superior Central. I may not have as much softball experience as I would like but that is because ages four to twelve I was playing baseball because that is all I could play at the time due to how small my town is. In the game of baseball, I was a pitcher and a catcher and now in softball, I am a catcher, shortstop, and third baseman. My intended major is photography or photojournalism. I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan so my softball season is short so in turn, I play basketball, volleyball, cross country, track, and golf to keep me going because I am very competitive and I like to win.
