My name is Delaney Lis and I am a 5'10" pitcher/1st base player from South Lyon, Michigan. I began playing on the varsity team at South Lyon East High School my freshman year. I have a 3.6 gpa and am looking to pursue a career in the medical field, particularly exercise science or radiology. I've had many first hand experiences with medical scanners and this has inspired me to work in these fields.
From a young age I've always shown a great interest in sports. Besides softball this includes volleyball, basketball, swim, and track/cross county. Over the years, my love and passion for softball has continued to grow. I love softball because it has taught me the true meaning of hard work and dedication. Playing with so many different and unique people has taught me the value of teamwork as well as different leadership skills. In addition to my teammates, I surround myself with people who understand the meaning of dedication and people who support my same values and goals.
