I am Lauren Schneider a 2021 graduate that attends Early College Alliance at Eastern Michigan University. My goal has always been education first, therefor I was left with the tough decision during my freshman year to choose a school that did not allow me to play high school softball, but gave me the opportunity to advance and take college classes to work toward an associates degree, while still earning my high school diploma. After 2 years of schooling there, an opportunity to transfer to Early College Alliance arose. I'm now playing softball for Milan High School (MI), as a starting varsity player, while still working towards my degree at Eastern Michigan University. For the past few years I have played travel softball with Intruders Fastpitch, which has given me the opportunity to develop my skills at multiple positions. Although I am a great utility player, I primarily pitch and play outfield due to my speed. My goals moving forward are to continue my education, while still displaying, and improving my softball skills. I am a firm believer in the team concept, and do not put myself as an individual player first. Thank you for visiting my profile, and I look forward to hearing from you in the future.
