Personal Statement

I have been playing softball since I was 7 years old. While I love softball, I enjoy being a multi-sport athlete. I feel being involved in multiple sports has made me a more well-rounded and stronger athlete, both physically and mentally.

I think one of my strengths as a softball player is my ability to stay calm during high pressure situations. I am able to handle the pressure in the circle without letting my emotion get the better of me. I am also a hard worker outside of practice. I spend time trying to get better each week.

I still have a lot of potential to learn and grow in the game of softball. I’m looking for a program where I can contribute, but also where I can learn and grow as a player. I believe my best softball is still ahead of me, and I’m excited to see what the next step looks like.
