Hello! My name is Brianna but I prefer to go by Bri! I am a Senior at Red Wing High School, class of 2024. I am a RHP and utility/infield. I have been lead off on my team, and have led my team in batting averages for many years!
I take great responsibility in being my team captain, it has shown me a lot about leadership and taught me how to be an even better teammate. I am very fast, so I can easily lay a good bunt down and steal bases. I can also swing away as a power hitter. I have been playing softball since T-ball. I have always been interested in the game and improving my skills as well as helping others improve theirs. I have been involved with sports my entire life and have loved playing volleyball, basketball, track and weightlifting outside of softball. Playing softball has forced me to learn a lot of good life lessons, such as good sportsmanship, being a good teammate and friend, self-discipline, teamwork, perseverance, good communication skills, and patience. Softball has allowed me to get much better at setting goals for myself. It has taught me that you should never give up and you should always strive for more but to also be proud of how far you have come. I am grateful for softball because I have gotten the chance to meet many people. Without it I wouldn't have some of the best friends I have today.
I am very interested in playing softball at a collegiate level and would like to pursue a carrier in the medical field. School comes before anything else, I have been a straight A student my entire life and I am very proud to say that I take school very seriously. I am going to college to get an education over anything else, but I would love to play softball while doing so.
I am open to looking into colleges around the US. I am a great teammate and friend on and off the field, and I get along with pretty much everyone I meet. I want to work on getting better at my skills, which makes me a very coachable player. I hope I am someone that would fit well in your program!
