My whole life I have always fit into this little mold. Be happy, be pretty, be athletic, be selfless, be perfect. But none of that is me. I'm not always happy, and I'm for sure not what society believes is pretty sometimes. But the one place I don't have to worry about all of the little molds I need to fit, is with my team and on the mound. That is truly my happy place and the place I am the best me.
My favorite part about softball is the love and passion girls give to their teammates. When I'm having a hard day I know I can trust my team and they can trust me. I am so passionate about this sport but I'm also passionate about the sisterhood, the love, and the safety you feel when you're even nearby. I believe that is the best part of the game, and that I bring that love and compassion in every shape and form there is.
