The desire for me to play softball in college has always been at the top of my list. I want to continue playing softball after high school because I really enjoy the game. Not only do I enjoy softball, but I also enjoy meeting new people when we travel to different places. I make friends easily.
I believe I should be recruited for various reasons. One reason is because I am coachable. Any time my coach needs to correct something I may be doing wrong or could do better, I am willing to listen and to change. The second reason is because I have a great work ethic. I am motivated to work hard, play hard and continue improving. I have completed my freshman year of high school playing three school sports and maintained A's & B's in all my classes for the year. I love playing sports, but my education is very important to me. Also, I am a team-player. I enjoy catching, but have been playing in outfield. I am willing to play any role on the team that helps make the team stronger. Helping my teammates keep their spirits high is another way I contribute to the team. On a personal note, I have a pretty good sense of humor and love to laugh.
While I would prefer to play at a Division I school, I am open to playing at a Division II, NAIA or JC level. Because receiving scholarship is a high priority, I am willing to play where ever the opportunity may exist.
