I have been playing softball since I was four years old. From the first time I stepped onto the field, when I was old enough to actually understand the sport, I have wanted to play at the college level. I am looking to continue my academic and athletic career during college. I am a third baseman at Northeast Lauderdale High School in Meridian, Mississippi. Growing up, my older brother and sister played baseball and softball, respectfully. This allowed me to experience the field all of my life. Softball has been my life for as long as I can remember. I have started varsity third base since my freshman year. In the classroom, I work hard to maintain my 4.0 GPA and currently am enrolled in my third AP class and will continue to be enrolled in AP classes into my senior year. I have a 25 on the ACT. I look to the future with hopes of becoming a doctor, either in the emergency room or an orthopedic surgeon, on a scholarship, whether athletic, academic, or both, to schools in the southeast but am open to schools elsewhere. My drive for my academics sets me aside from other recruits. My hard work on the field will only be mirrored in the classroom. I am a good candidate because I am versatile in the infield and have played most positions. Even if I am put in a position I have never played, I will work hard to learn and be the best I can at that position.
