Softball has taught me countless of lessons and has also taught me that failure is only a true failure if you don't learn from mistakes. At the end of the day I am a better hitter, runner, fielder, and teammate because I learn and adapt. I feel that my stats support this philosophy as it has improved each year. The exciting thing is that this philosophy is not limited to softball but it will help me with my life outside of softball.
Good grades in high school are important to me because it reflects who you are as a person. I also participate in school programs like SAIL mentoring, FCCLA and Educators Rising. I believe this will lay the foundation for my success in college and my ultimate goal of becoming a Teacher.
I have been taught, since I began softball, to be a student of the game. I promote and understand a team that works as one, will be one of the hardest to beat. I believe that I am a hard worker on and off the field and know how to respect the game. My primary position is LHP / 1st Base for Branson Hot Shotz and Branson High School and graduate in 2020.
I want to compete at the next level. I am looking for a college that will support me academically as well as on the field. Financial need will play a role in what college I will attend. I am very willing to travel further distances for a school that fits me. I would also prefer to play for a school where my skills can be utilized early in my college career versus a popular school where it may take a couple of years to get on the field. I feel if you were to talk to my family, friends and coaches they all would tell you that I will be an asset to any program.
