My goal is to get my RN/BSN in nursing, and eventually further specialize my education for Pediatrics, while continuing playing softball. Softball has always been my passion; I have a great work ethic, I'm very coachable, and I work hard in the weight room to get stronger and better. I work well with my teams (travel league and school ball) and strive to be a leader on and off the field. Academically, I work hard in my classes and I maintain a 4.0 GPA. I am involved in Student Council - which strengthens my leadership skills, band (I've received all-district and all-conference honors), and organizations such as LEO club, FBLA, and FCA. I also participate in basketball and track (I throw shot put and discus) in order to stay in shape and get stronger for softball season. My travel team works in an indoor facility in the off season, where we focus on strength and conditioning as well as batting drills, live hitting, and fielding drills.
