As college approaches I have been thinking about what I want out of my college experience. I want to not only grow as an athlete but also as a person. Being a collegiate athlete can help me achieve both. My coaches and teammates will push me to be the best I can be both on and off the field. This will not only help me become a better athlete but will also help me to grow as a person.
My goal is to find a school that will provide me with a competitive level of softball combined with an excellent academic program. I plan to pursue a science major at the undergraduate level that will prepare me for Medical School.
I have just begun my high school softball career as a freshman and look forward to what I will achieve at this level. My goal is to become the starting Varsity Pitcher, lead my team to be district champions and even farther with a state title. I plan to maintain a minimum of a 3.8 GPA throughout my high school career. I want to fully utilize the gifts God has given me.
I am a leader to those on my teams and I strive to become better everyday. I encourage my teammates and make sure no one gives up. Especially if I know they can push themselves more. I lead by example and push myself as well. Throughout every season whether it is softball or another sport I try to never look defeated during a game or a practice because once others see my mindset change it will negatively impact them as well. A leader makes sure that their team doesn’t give up, and that we, as a team, always have good sportsmanship to both the opponent and the referees. I am a leader both on and off the field. Whether we are talking about academics or my attitude towards others.NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the exclusive athletic recruiting network that educates, assists, and connects, families, coaches and companies so they can save time and money, get ahead and give back.
