Personal Statement

My dream since I was seven years old has been to attend college and play softball. I have been preparing for this nearly my whole life by working hard and fully committing myself to my academics, my team, and the game. Being a student athlete is very demanding and I believe I have what it takes to make it at the next level. I have been a starting outfielder for varsity since I was a freshman and as a Junior earned the Varsity center fielder position. In the off season I play basketball to stay in shape for softball and I have played JV as a freshman and varsity as a sophomore. I love being part of a team and I strive to be a positive leader for my teammates no matter what the situation is. I think that is what sets me apart from other recruits and why I would make a good candidate for any team.
