When I was younger me and my dad used to watch college softball games all the time. From the first game I watched I knew softball was something I wanted to do. I’ve been playing softball for three or four years. Through my time playing the sport so far I have learned that I am more resilient than I ever thought. In my 2023 seasons (Plural because I play in a summer league) I suffered two injuries, I strained a muscle in my right shoulder, and I had suffered a Bimalleolar fracture to my right ankle.
Through both of these injuries, I kept working. I persevered and now I am entering my first season of high school softball. I’ve made it further so far this year than in previous ones. Academically for high school my goals are to maintain my grades above B’s. I’ve always been able to keep my grades above B’s so I’m hoping to keep that going in high school. Thank you for taking time to read this.
