My name is Carlee Gilham and I am a Class of 2020 student at Notre Dame High School, a private Catholic school in St. Louis, MO. I have had a passion for softball since I started playing in my school CYC league in first grade. When I was 10 years old I made the jump to select softball and have never stopped. I used to play basketball and volleyball in grade school, but now that I am in high school my focus is on academics and softball for Notre Dame and my select club team, the STL Prospects.
I understand what it takes to be a stellar student-athlete. I know school and my studies come first and softball second. I work very hard at both to be the best student I can be and also to be the best teammate on the field. I abide by a quote I once read from Adam Wainwright of the St. Louis Cardinals: “If you are not doing something every day to get better, someone else is.” I go by this quote for school and softball because it helps me focus on getting better at both every day.
Thank you for looking at my profile, and I hope it creates an interest to learn more about me.
