Hi! My name is Katie Pounders. I am a Criminology major and am looking to attend law school upon receiving my degree. My goals are simple, I want to fulfill my passion for playing softball. I want to be the best player and teammate I can be and continue to get better in the coming years. I want to build strong relationships with teammates, and more importantly, I want to win. I love competition and I will do what it takes to win. I want to be a champion both on and off the field and I have a strong determination to succeed in all aspects. I wear a skirt when I play softball because it is my religion, and my coach in sixth grade told me I could play any position I wanted to, besides a catcher because I was wearing a skirt, which led me to be the catcher, with many honors, that I am today. Softball is my safe place but above everything, I want to glorify God in everything I do and want to be a light that people can see when I play.
