Mariah English '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Mariah English. I am a junior at Helena High School in Helena, Montana, graduating in 2020.

I love the game of softball and would like to play in college at the highest level possible.

Last year I worked at a daycare and I really enjoyed working with the kids.  So much that I am considering a degree in education to become a teacher.

I have maintained a 3.5 GPA and have been on the honor roll every quarter since the seventh grade.

Defensively, I am a right handed pitcher that can play other positions as well. This past season as a sophomore I was the starting pitcher for our team, leading them to the State tournament with 12 wins and a playoff victory. My best pitches are rise, change, and curve. 

Offensively, I have a very good batting average and very good power. I hit 7 home runs, 2 of them at State.  The first one was my very first at bat at my first state tournament. The other off of one of the top pitchers in our state. 

My other interests include basketball, weightlifting and choir.

I am loyal to my school, my coaches, and  my team. I love my teammates and work hard for them. I try to give my best at everything I do.
