Abigail O'Brien '16 Recruiting Profile

Some of my collegiate goals and aspirations are to achieve a great education, get a degree in my field of study that I love, to play any division of softball,to work hard, play hard, enjoy life, and to one day have a happy healthy family. I would make a outstanding candidate for a team because I will succeed at any obstacle thrown my way, I am very coachable, unselfish, and I work hard on and off the field. I also perform very well under pressured situations and am very optimistic. What makes me different from other recruits in character is I am very hard working, responsible, respectful, and committed. I like to stick out from a crowd and follow my own heart, but most of all what makes me different is my passion for the game. Softball is my life and my whole world. It has changed me in so many positive ways that i couldn't picture my life without it. I just want to continue playing the beautiful game in any way I can out side of high school. I stand out in athletics because I am a very versatile player in any sport. You can put me in any position and I will excel. I have always played on teams above my age division due to my abilities and hard work. I stand out academically because I have achieved a 4.0 my whole life. I have taken honors classes and will be taking some International Baccalaureate classes. My high school is the only school in Montana that offers this program. It is said to be more rigorous than AP classes which will better prepare me for college classes. Given the opportunity i will represent any school admirably in both academics and athletics.
