Personal Statement

I am currently undecided on what I want to major in for college.  My top 2 choices are currently Nursing and Physical Therapy.  I am also undecided on where I want to go at this time.

I am very interested in playing softball in college as I REALLY love the sport.  My coaches would say that I am very coachable and knowledgeable about the game.   I was a Freshman starter on my high school team.  My desired position is 1st base which I feel  I excel at.  I also have pitched.  I do  not feel that I am the best pitcher but stepped up and did what I needed to for my team, as there was only 1 other person that could pitch but wasn't her desired position either.  I have been playing softball competitively since I was 8 years old, on a travel team as well as a local rec team.

I would also consider being a football manager if that was an option.

I feel proud of my grades.  While participating in  4 activities my freshman and sophomore year and 3 my junior and senior year, I was still able to maintain above a 3.6 GPA.   I also held a job my junior and senior years.
