Personal Statement

Through my many years of being a multi-sport athlete, I learned to become a leader as well as a follower. A catcher to me means I am the main eyes and voice of the field for not only myself but my 8 other sisters on the field with me. I have to be on my A game 24/7 for if something affects me, my team sees that and reflects my emotions and feelings. Academically for high school I wish to accomplish passing grades with an outstanding imprint left on all my teachers. My teachers have always had a big impact on my life with always finding a way to adapt learning so everyone can understand the topic of teaching. Thanks to my teachers I wish to become an elementary education teacher, in hopes of returning the favor onto further generations.

My grandparents and parents have a big impact on who I have become not only as a person but also as a ball player. My grandpa was diagnosed with cancer back in 2016, and soon died in December of 2016. He was a big part of my life, so I took his death hard but soon turned it into a blessing. Instead of playing with just a purpose of going to college, I now play in honor of him and all he accomplished and all he had done for me in my life. My parents have supported me through the last 10 years of softball with the cheers and the courageous compliments and improving criticism.

I have had the amazing opportunity to play under 4 outstanding coaches through my 10 years of playing. Each one has pushed me further and further in my career by supporting my wishes and dreams of playing college ball. To this day I still remain in contact with all of them and continue to seek their wise words and wisdom they have to share about the game.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
