Personal Statement
Hi my name is Janie Sommer. I am from Maxwell, Nebraska and I would like to play college softball. One of my dreams when I was younger was to play softball at a collegiate level. I started playing tee ball at the age of 4, and I have played ever since. I play for SWAT Softball in the summer because my school doesn't have a team. I play softball with my sister who is 2 years older then me, so I have always played on an older team since a very young age. I have always been told that I have great leadership skills. I have a 4.0 GPA and I am at the top of my class.
