I am Nataly Rodriguez and I have always loved to play softball. When I was little my dad would pitch a ball to me and I would hit it with a broom stick. I always asked my parents to put me on a team, to get me a real bat, and play with a softball, but they werent able to. When I started highschool, my freshman year, my friend told me intramurals for softball had started. I was excited because it had been a while since I played, but I still went and did the best that I could. That year I made the Junior Varsity team, and I was the starter catcher for the entire year. My coaches loved me so much, they all agree I have a great attitude on and off the field and knew I always tried my hardest. The next year I made the Junior Varsity team, again. I wasn't upset or angry, instead I thanked my coach for the oppurtunity to play on her team and asked what I needed to work on the most. I took her advice and to make it solid I decided to hire a private coach and join a rec team. After all the practice I have gotten these past years, I honestly believe I have improved tremendously. While working with a team, I always support all the players and enforce a postitive attitude on the team. Personally, I believe that my attitude and dedication sets me aside from other players, with a great attitude anything is possible.
