2021 Spotlight Personal Statement
I know it sounds cliche but I truly want to become the best softball player I can while gaining an education and working towards a positive future. I have seen first hand the hard work it takes to accomplish a successful college career by watching my brother and sister graduate near the top of their classes. I have seen first hand the hard work it takes to provide the opportunity to get that education by watching my parents work 7 days a week to provide for us. I am a great candidate for any school because I have wanted this for as long as I can remember and will work tirelessly to achieve my goals. I am different from other recruits because from a very early age my parents have taught me a great life/school/sports balance. This allows me to prioritize things accordingly and gives me a clear path to success and a way to handle the stress of balancing these things.
