My name is Addison Houghton and I am a 2024 graduate at Brick Memorial High School in Brick, NJ. My parents signed me up for t- ball when I was about 5 years old. Ever since then I have always had a love for softball and never wanted to stop learning about it. My many years of travel ball has led me to understand what the true meaning of teamwork actually is. Playing at the next level has always been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. I always thought it would be a given but now looking at it, it's something you have to work for.
Throughout the years I have learned the value of giving my all and taking the next step to help my team. I have approached my academic career the same way. I currently have a 4.0 GPA. I haven taken a honors class and I plan on taking more throughout the next couple years. Being able to be a quick learner, I have learned the game of softball quite well. Most coaches have told me I am disciplined, coachable, and that I have a positive attitude on and off the field.
