My collegiate goals and aspirations is to become a teacher. I choose to go into the field of education because I love working with children. Currently I am taking a kids class in my high school where we teach preschool children motor skills and also teach them new words they could not say before. This is my second year taking the class and as I saw last year, the children who were signed up for the first time, improved and became more social and intelligent by the end of the year. This is one reason I love taking the class, because I get to see the children grow as individuals and I am lucky enough to be able to teach them myself.
As for me playing softball, I love pitching and playing center field. For me personally, I do not pitch sixty miles per hour. I am not the fastest and I knew this going into my career of being a pitcher. With that said, I had to learn how to be a true "pitcher". By saying that, I mean I had to learn how to hit my spots and create movement on the ball and to keep batters off balance.
I love playing center field because as a pitcher, I know how important the outfield is by making a big catch or cutting a ball off to hold the runners to one base instead of two or three.
