Lead off Home Run Personal Statement
Athletically, I currently play Center Field / 2B for the NJ Breakers Gold. I am extremely versatile as an athlete. I have great speed, but can also hit the deep ball. I can drop a bunt any time, and drive the ball over fence to score runs. My bat is considered quite deceiving at the top of the lineup.
I train everyday to improve my skills, and make every attempt to find ways to enhance my game whenever possible. I am considered a great teammate providing a positive, motivating, and trusting attitude. Throughout my softball career, I have played on a number of teams. The ones that were successful were the ones that practiced and worked hard as a team (not as individuals).
Academically, I am looking to pursue a communications degree at a great university. As my education is very important to me, I work very hard in the classroom to improve everyday. I am currently a Junior (Class of 2017) at South Brunswick High School in New Jersey. While I obtain my degree, my goal is to continue my softball career in college with a competitive team.
