Personal Statement

I am strong willed, and hard working. Many people over the years have told me I am too short to be a pitcher, and I want to prove them wrong. Pitcher's can't hit? Yeah right, I love being in the batter's box. I love to play the game, I am out there to compete, but have fun also. I am a team leader, and help guide the younger players on my team. Hard work pays off on and off the field.

Off the field I love biology, my ultimate goal is to go into the medical field. I love helping people feel better, putting a smile on someone's face is heart warming. I love singing and participate in choir. I work hard in school, and always do my best in anything I put my mind to. Challenge me, or tell me I can't do something, and I will give it my all to prove you wrong.

Pitching

Started pitching when I was 7. I currently train with Chrissy Focht from Innovative fastpitch (609-314-0458). I also workout in my personal garage and indoor facility (Phenom Factory, Millville, NJ). I throw approximately 150 pitches a day when I am off from games or practice. Strengthening bands are used twice weekly to help build leg strength for my push.

I have been training with a hitting coach, Les Olson ([email protected]), at Phenom Factory in Millville NJ. I work with Coach Les weekly and on my own, I do soft toss and tee work in the garage at least twice weekly.
