Brynn Elliott '22 Personal Statement
My name is Brynn Elliott. I am a juniorin high school, (class of 2022) and I turned 16 in July. I have been playing competitive softball since I was 7 years old. I have played on my town travel team for 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U. Additionally, I have played 14U, 16U and 18U club teams and have “guested” on a few others.
As a hitter, my average is consistently around.500 ++ throughout my softball career. During summer tournaments, my batting average jumps to .600 +. I bat and throw right, but I’m not afraid to try to slap! Moreover, my primary position is catching. I have been catching since I was about 10 years old. But, I started to call the pitches/games when I was in 14U. It truly changed the way I play softball; I count it as one of my skills now. Besides catching, I am a utility player. I can comfortably play any position ( except for pitching of course ). If I am not behind the plate, then I enjoy playing 3rd base.
School wise, I am a straight A student and have aspirations of a career in the medical field. All in all, my dream would be to attend and play softball for a competitive program and school

- This past Summer we were 37-8 winning the Blue Chip Philadelphia Summer Sizzler, Angels for Autism, and The War at the Shore Tournaments and coming in second in the Christmas in July Tournament. This Fall we were 33-9 winning the 7 Inning Battle, Stomp out Diabetes, USA Softball Breast Cancer Awareness, and Veterans Day Salute Tournaments, we were also the Group Champion in the Blue Chip Fall Finale Roundup Showcase. Lots of great softball, that leaves us with a record of 70-17 for the 2020 season.

- College Coaches Showcase Camp is designed for high school softball players that want to work directly with college coaches in an on-field environment. The event is for those players who are focused on becoming college softball student-athletes or want to learn more about that process. The camp will feature quality instruction from college coaches, verbal evaluations provided by the coaching staff through drills & instruction, and a Discussion on College Athletics for both players and parents. The College Softball Prospects Camp and Showcase is open to all high school softball players and is restricted in enrollment. The player-to-coach ratio will not exceed 8:1. These camps are in compliance with all NCAA rules.
