Dear Coaches,
Hello, my name is Emily Jacobs and I would like to introduce myself. I am currently 17 years old and I’m a junior at Sparta High School (Sparta,NJ). I will graduate in 2021. I have been playing varsity softball for Sparta HS since my freshman year. I have been put in many different positions during my high school career but my primary position is 3rd base, and my secondary position is 2nd base. The club team I play on is called the (Black Diamonds 18u Showcase). While playing with the Black Diamonds, I was honored to receive a spot on the USSSA Winter National All Tournament Team In 2016 and 2017. Everyone I play with I have known for years and are practically family to me. My team has made such a huge impact on not only my life but my mindset for softball, making me want to pursue becoming a student athlete in college. I believe I would be a tremendous asset to any university and program as a student athlete. Many colleges look for athletes with specific qualities that make them unique. I am confident saying that I am one of the most hardworking and determined athletes out there. I work extremely hard in school and in sports to make myself better. I always put in the extra work whenever I can to try an achieve playing softball at the collegiate level. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me!
