I have been playing softball for most of my life and it has been one of my most rewarding experiences. Softball has taught me how to be a good teammate and when to be a leader. There have been good times and challenging times but I wouldn't change any of them because all of those experiences have helped me to grow as a player and reinforced my desire to play in college.
I am not afraid of hard work both on and off the field. In school, I am an A- student and earned Magna Cum Laude honors during my Sophomore year. I am currently a Junior and taking a mixture of AP and Honors courses. I also play clarinet in the Wind Ensemble and had the opportunity to perform in Carnegie Hall! On weekends, I volunteer for the local EMT Squad. This past summer, I traveled to the Dominican Republic for a Global Health Initiative with the volunteer GLA program. In college, I plan to pursue a degree in Health Sciences.
If you were to ask my coaches and teammates to describe me, they would say that I am outgoing and fun to be around and can be counted on when needed. My teachers would say that I am studious and driven to succeed. If you are looking for a player who is always ready for a challenge, eager for feedback and a team player, then look no further!
