Softball has been one of the biggest contributors to what makes me, me. Without it, I wouldn’t have been able to see what I am truly capable of. It has also allowed me to find confidence in myself, especially showing me how to fall in love with my height.

Softball has shown me that it’s okay to fail and has led me in all the right directions as to how I should learn from my mistakes. Most of all, it has taught me that nobody is perfect and no two players are the same.

I would consider myself a very driven athlete. Once I set a goal for myself, I will take the necessary steps to complete the task. As a pitcher, I understand the importance of my voice and how the rest of the field feeds off my energy. I have had to recover from an injury so I know and value the concept of playing every game like it’s your last.

I see myself attending college somewhere in the Northeast. I hope to go into the law field someday. Overall, I want a college that I have fallen in love with both academically and athletically; I want to make the most out of my last four years playing softball.
