Katherine Calle '20 Recruiting Profile

I was once told, "You never lose, you win the experience to keep moving forward in doing what you love". Ever since I began to play soccer at 7 years old I have loved every minute of it. As I began to get more and more competitive I began to grow as a player and a person. Through the losses, I've learned to become a leader and to pick my team up and fight till the end. My determination and work-ethic have gone to show the sacrifices that my family and I have done for me to be able to reach my goals. The long drives to practices and games have taught me to be humble and thankful for every chance I get to play.

Winning and getting a big trophy is the highlight of any student-athlete, but for me, the best part is the process and the work put in by each player to contribute to the same goals. I'm looking for a program that is academically as well as athletically challenging to show my qualities. I believe I have the talent and qualities to play at the college level. My character, work-ethic, and determination are bound to make an impact in your program.
