Illeana Ramirez '21 Recruiting Profile

Softball is my passion. I love being a part of a team and something amazing. I plan to major in Marine Biology and then eventually return to my dad's home land of Puerto Rico to work. I enjoy learning and my education is my primary goal. I volunteer at multiple community events during the year and my community is important to me. I also love to sing and am a member of my high school's all female acapella singing group, the choralaires. I also sing the National Anthem for our Varsity Volleyball team before our home games as well as for our boys Varsity Basketball team home games. Since I was 4 years old and played on my first T-ball team the softball field has brought me joy and peace. The unity of a team, people playing as one is my goal.  I would love if I could play softball for my entire life is one capacity or another. I play softball year around with my travel/club team and I want to play more.
