Personal Statement

My name is Meredith Lee and I am dedicated softball player. I have been playing the game of softball since I was six years old and have loved it ever since. I have played varsity softball since eighth grade and have been the captain of my team for the past two years. I have received All-league (first team) three times and all-Section honorable mention during my high school career. As a junior this past season, I received All-Section (first team), and Most Valuable Position Player.

Throughout my softball career I have always had a positive attitude and been a strong team player. I play softball for the true love of the game. My dedication to the sport and my teammates is recognizable through my performance on the field. I give one hundred and ten percent on the field and in the classroom with an open mindset for change and constructive criticism. I live by the quote "Work hard, play hard, stay humble." Throughout high school, I have earned high honor roll each year as well as being apart of the National Honors Society. I am a scholar athlete with several honors and advanced placement classes. Despite the outcome of my game or my grades, I am always looking for a way to improve and achieve my next goal. I aspire to be the absolute best I can be. I'm involved in multiple extracurricular activities that have taught me leadership skills and becoming a role model. I am excited to find a school for me where I can flourish in the classroom and on the field.

I envision my college years to be full personal growth. Although I haven't completely decided on a career path, my interests include Physical Therapy and Childhood Development. On the field, I plan to be a dynamic and influential team player. I will conduct myself with honor, on and off the field, knowing my attitude affects my team, my coaches, and my school.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
