Personal Statement

My dream is to play on a college team while achieving a degree to become a Behavior Specialist working with juveniles. Playing collegiate softball is a passion of mine since I watched it when I was little. I practice and play year round and I am truly in love with this sport. I enjoy being involved in every play possible. I especially love to be in the infield. I'm determined and engaged in every play either by encouraging my teammates, or driving to do my best in any play presented with. As an eighth grader, I was a starting player at shortstop on my school's varsity team where I continue to play. In my varsity career, I have either started as a shortstop or third baseman. I also play travel, indoor, and on a women's post college league with collegiate players.
