One of my best qualities is I strive to be a good teammate on every team I play on. I always try to make my teammates better and support and encourage them. I am so grateful for all the great friendships and lessons that softball has given me. I am very driven to work hard and to be the best I can be. I started playing little league baseball and was the only girl to consistently make the All Star Team while pitching and hit HR over the fence. I switched to softball in 7th grade and joined a travel team where I not only fell in love with the game but also my teammates. I go to Westfield Academy and Central School in NY where we did not have a softball team. We formed a team and I played catcher because that is what was needed. Our record was 3-12. I started taking pitching lessons and throughout our cancelled season from Covid, I worked to become a pitcher. This year, I earned the starting pitcher for Varsity and we went 12-3. I earned the division pitcher of the year and also a spot as starting pitcher on my travel team, West Seneca Magic 16U Lucas. I play shortstop, centerfield, and now pitcher. In July, we just won the 15U NSA World Series in Indiana. I was a 4 sport athlete this past year with a 4.0 GPA. Academics are also very important to me and I want to find a college that has a good fit with my academics as well as softball. My goal is to play softball at a high collegiate level and be apart of a team that does great things. I want to inspire younger girls to play softball. I believe that I can play at a high level and that I would be a good teammate to other players. Whether it is through softball or other things, I want to have an impact on others around me and I want to make a difference with my life.
