Kiyonna White '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi My names is Kiyonna White I am a 2022 graduate my positions are catcher and first base.My long term aspirations is to play in college and to become a pediatrician. I love softball and that sport to me is a hard thing to leave behind because once I started I never stopped. I make a good candidate for your team because I like to go all out I like to give you and show you my all I bring a lot to the team, if you need me to switch off during a game I will be gladly to do so I gained a new position this year which is first base my coach was short a player my pitcher got tired and he pulled me to the side he asked me “do you think you can hold down first base these last 2 innings” I said “yes sir” I did what I had to do hustled and did what was asked. We won that game that day that’s when he told me the next day at practice my secondary position is now 1st base. What makes me different from other recruiters in character athletic and academics is that I like putting others before myself also known as my teammates, I like encouraging my teammates even when stuff is going downhill we have to keep a positive attitude.
