Mia Holmes '20 Recruiting Profile

    I have had the goal of playing college softball since I was about ten years old. I believe I have the qualities and ability to play at the highest level of softball. I feel that learning to conquer adversity in the games can also help me with many other obstacles I will face in my life.  I am hardworking, determined and a quick learner in and out of the classroom.  I am a very coachable athlete that adapts quickly to mechanical change.  I am most definitely willing to work hard for whatever goal it is set for my team as well as myself.  

   I feel that as long as I am able to play softball and enjoy my college experience as a student-athlete that I would look back and be content and happy with my career.  No matter what division I do end up playing in I plan on working hard to better not only myself, but working with my teammates to better each other. I believe that building relationships with both teammates and coaches is vital to the teams success.
