Winning the PVC my freshman year has been the highlight of my high school career so far. However my sophomore year didn't go like we thought it would. As I grow to become more of a student athlete know thing are not going to get handing to me I have to put in the time to get what I want. My sophomore year helped me grow as a better person and it really showed me that when things do not come easy you still have to push yourself to do the best you can. From learning that it has really showed me if I can keep my head up trough that I can do anything I put my mind to, and one of those things would be playing softball in college.
It was amazing being part of a team that had won the PVC my freshman year, and then my sophomore year being runner up in sectional championship. Throughout my years of high school sports have thought me leadership skills, commitment, values of hard work, and it has showed me what dedication can do. I'm looking for a program that will be good for me academically as well as athletically. I believe that I not only have the talent to compete on a college team, but character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. As a two-sport athlete I know I have what it takes to be part of your team.
