I am Chesnee Fairall, I am a three sport athlete looking further my athletic and academic career after high school. I am a farm kid from Central Ohio. Throughout the school year, I play volleyball, basketball, and softball and have a 3.9 GPA (weighted). Although softball is my main sport, I am also involved in 4-H and FFA. For my 4-H Club, Animals R Us, I served as the club president as a freshman, sophomore, and senior. In FFA at Centerburg High School I was the President, Vice President, and Recruitment Chair, I am in charge of getting the younger members start in FFA and understand the amazing opportunities it can give. I volunteer most of my time to working in the agriculture industry, which is what I love. Softball was the first sport I had ever played, I had started softball later than all the other girls in my town, but I worked very hard and was the starting varsity catcher my freshman year. Ever since I was little I wanted to be an Ohio State Buckeye. Being a farm kid, it has taught me hard work from a young age and to never give up no matter what. I herniated a disc in my back last fall, and had surgery last June. I am so thankful I was able to start playing again this past senior season. I am forever grateful for my parents for teaching me to work hard for what I want from a young age, along with introducing me to Jesus Christ as a young kid also. Thank you for taking time out of your day to read my personal statement!
