Softball first entered my life at eight years old when my dad involuntarily signed me up for the local softball team. Clearly, a lot has changed since then. I’ve found that growing up playing for a local travel team has cultivated my respect for the community that comes with playing the game; whether it be coaches or teammates. Recently, my desire to take my skills to the next level has led me to play with a more competitive and challenging team. I made this difficult decision with the hope of further developing my physical and mental skills as a player and teammate. I wanted to place myself in an environment that would provide me with more challenges outside of my comfort zone in order to play at the next level. On the field, I am a second baseman, RHP, and a utility player. I throw right-handed and am a slapper from the left side offensively. My adaptability has proved to be valuable on and off the field by allowing me to apply my skills within different positions. I consider my resilient attitude and work ethic to be one of my most valuable skills. My academics have always been a main priority as I view myself as a motivated learner. I pride myself on achieving the highest honors at school and enjoy immersing myself in different experiences. I am interested in studying along the track of health sciences or sports medicine; however, I am still exploring different career opportunities. In college, my goal is to pursue a high degree of education while continuing to play softball at the next level. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile!
