What makes me a great candidate for your team is that I have an encouraging spirit, which motivates my teammates to recognize their potential and work towards it.  I have the temperament to turn mistakes into experiences, and losses into breakthroughs. I have the ability to both learn quickly and apply that knowledge; I can strategize once I gain a good enough understanding, and work well with those around me to find solutions. Despite the fact that I am very competitive by nature, I don't aspire to be the most gifted on the team. Instead,  I aim to be my absolute best, by pushing myself to the brink of my limits with my resolve. I am always driven to learn new skills, gain new experiences, and seize opportunities. The reason I want to play softball in college is to make myself a better athlete and person.
