Growing up with divorced parents has helped me push through as a person and become better. All together it has made me a better person towards people in a crowd, at school, on the field, and even people in my house. Parents always yell from the stands and I’ve learned to just ignore what they have to say, students at school say things about me playing and I just ignore what they have to say, and if any one in my family says anything I just shake it off. Being around a team and family that supports me has given me a better understanding of how I need to act towards any situation. I no longer get frustrated at little things even when they get the best of me. Ever since I started softball when I was younger, I decided to play travel ball and experience all the memories and opportunities that I could. Being on this team has showed me how to become a different person by changing my attitude majorly; however, we go to amazing places that I would never have experienced and made the memories I have if it wasn’t for my team.
For high school my academic goal is to be the best I can be and become a better learner from experiencing all of my classes and people around me. For college my academic goal is to go into the PA field or Physical Therapy and help people when they need it. To achieve these goals I have to work very hard and all the time to do my best. I am a full-time athlete who is always working and pushing to be better; however, I put school work before softball due to my grades and academics being more important. Team leading and time managing has become a great thing for me and has become a good thing for my team. For them someone to look up to and to know that someone is there is huge for a team; therefore, you keep their heads up and push everyone to be their greatest.
