Hi, my name is Skylar Cox. I am 17 years old and a senior from Franklin, OH. I'm driven, focused and passionate in all that I do, on and off the field. On the field, I am a right-handed pitcher and utility player. I have played competitively for 8 years and have been a starter my entire high school career. Off the field, I feed the homeless, tutor peers and help younger girls learn how to play softball.
I take my academics very seriously. I attend the Warren County Career Center where I take Sports & Exercise Therapy. This program allows me to gain knowledge and basic skills to continue on in fields like physical therapy or athletic training. I hope to gain a certification as a physical therapist aide to finish out my high school career. For college, I intend to major in a degree focusing around exercise science, athletic training, kinesiology or biology.
I want to attend a college that will challenge me academically and athletically, and push me to be a better player on and off the field.
Thank you for taking your time to get to know me!
