Softball is my life. I've played it since I was little, never wanting to fail at the one sport I fell in love with. Ever since I started playing, it has always been about pushing myself past what I previously thought possible and having fun while doing it. This sport is great when you're stressed or need to blow off some steam as the moment you step out on the field, it all seems to go away. It means the world to be playing this amazing sport at this level and I play every game as if it were my last. Softball really is a sport where you can get lost in it and never give up.
On each and every team I have been on, one thing stays the same, my determination and hard work to prove how much of an asset I am to their team. I always put my all into being the best I can be and I am determined to show that to everyone. I am strong in many ways, mentally and physically, and I'm not afraid to stand up for the people I care about. No matter what I am doing, on or off of the field, I am always striving to reach my goals with hard work, even if it means pushing through pain to get there. I believe that my talent as a pitcher and first baseman can always be improved so I am always working at becoming the best first baseman and pitcher that I can possibly be. There is always something that can be worked on and improved no matter who the person is so I always try to do just that.
I am looking for a college that will provide me with a healthy balance between three or four things. The biggest thing is my education, followed by band/music and softball, and maybe a job. As long as the coaches are open to allowing me to do all of these things, I am open to whatever division they are. Also, I would prefer schools either in the Midwest, or around Colorado or California. I am looking to major in the performing arts, medical, law, or music so I would need a college that has most of these majors available. I am striving to get as many scholarships as I can so I am really hoping for scholarships to that school, not only in sports, but in other areas such as academics and band/music. Overall, I am looking for a college who is flexible yet still has good academic opportunities, and preferably, a few scholarships.
