Hello, my name is Kaia Williams. I have been playing softball since I was four years old. Since I first stepped on the field, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.
I have strong mental toughness and high softball IQ. I am a leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am also very coachable. I strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you'll find.
I work hard year round on my softball skills by participating in select softball and school softball as well as seeing a hitting/pitching coach and hitting the weight room. I play for Kettering Krush 16u (Roger W.) and play for my school team.
In the classroom, I study hard and stay focused. I plan on a rigorous course load next school year as I did this year. I have taken a leadership class provided through the school to build my skills as well. I also have and do volunteer for our local Optimist club.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the softball field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers in my community and honestly make my family proud.
